I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite having booked a double seaview room, my arrival was met with a downgrade to a small economy room with no view or balcony. The service was lackluster regarding the room issue, but the breakfast view was beautiful. On the plus side, the pool and beach areas were quite lovely, making it a bittersweet stay overall.

The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a variety of options that never left me wanting. However, one downside was the lack of quick access to transport in the area, making it a bit challenging to explore Negombo. Overall, this place offers great value for a relaxing getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at Goldi Sands. The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to plenty of dining options. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely view. The staff was friendly, but the service was a bit slow at times, especially during meal times. The breakfast could use more variety to truly impress.
